Because of frustration with himself and with his life a subconscious internal fury can build up and belligerence become a serious problem. For no reason tempers can fray and if the fists don’t fly, certainly the tongue does the lashing. Short temper and poor tolerance become the norm. Pedestrians in the way on a sidewalk, shop assistants, bank tellers, waiters, barmen and people generally supplying a service catch the brunt of the raging ire. Bad service can bring violent displays of temper to the surface.
During M-M a normally calm and pleasant man can turn almost overnight into an intolerant, short-tempered person. Psychiatrists explain this as aggression brought on entirely due to a man’s frustrations with himself. As his life evens out so his tolerance will return to normal and his temper back to its original state.
